Under the supervision of the Salon & Nail Supervisor, the stylist provides professional, high quality hair care services for clients. The Stylist provides own service utensils including but not limited to uniform, curling iron, hairdryer, flat iron, shears, clippers, brushes, combs and clips. Stylist is responsible to booking appointments, cashiering, collecting payment from client, encouraging retail sales, making a sales quota, cleaning, and when necessary, performing float duties in the Spa. MUST have experience in and be proficient at performing up-dos. Experience with Goldwell color preferred.
Basic knowledge of computers, copiers, fax, adding machines, calculators. Must possess well-developed customer service techniques and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients.
High school diploma or GED as well as a beautician/cosmetician CT State License and minimum two to four years salon experience or an equivalent combination of experience and/or educations is required. Hospitality or spa experience preferred.
