Education – Project Manager Education (FT)

Under the direction of Director of Education, the incumbent is responsible for the management, administration and coordination of the Scholarship Program. Supports students and parents through the scholarship application/continued eligibility process ensuring adherence to all policies and establishing procedures in order to ensure the highest level of student support possible. Serves as the primary point of contact for students, parents, academic institutions, patrons, etc. for all programs including but not limited to Higher Education, Certification & Trade/Vocational Training, K-12 Private Schools and Early Childhood Education. Works with schools and families to ensure students have all of the correct documents in order to receive MPTN Scholarship funds. Oversees Scholarship software and manages updates to the Scholarship program by revising applications and other program documents. Provides data and policy recommendations to the Director or designee as requested. Compiles reports requiring moderately complex data gathering and research, as directed. Demonstrates an ability to work in a high-pressure environment requiring a frequent need to multi-task. Associate’s degree plus six (6) or more years of high level independent administrative work experience is required. Must have previous project leadership experience as well as experience in working with office budgets and in monitoring budget expenses. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Must be capable of project planning, multitasking, have strong writing skills and be able to exhibit tact and diplomacy in the face of opposition when dealing with sensitive and controversial subject matter. Must be proficient in using Windows software such as word processing (word & excel), spreadsheets, presentation, graphics and PC database applications. A valid motor vehicle driver’s license is required.
